I’m a nurse for a large insurance company and being squeezed by medical directors, senior leadership, network into having higher and more strict expectations. How can we leverage our numbers into power?

Unionize. If you're in a Right to work state keep looking.

Oooof I am seeing similar things happen in my workplace. What do you mean by leveraging numbers into power? My initial read is that you are looking to unionize.

You could consider organizing as a group to voice concerns collectively. Uniting with coworkers, presenting data showing the impact of unrealistic expectations on care quality and employee well-being, can give your concerns more weight. Strength in numbers matters! Unionizeeeee

So you don’t want strict expectations you want loose ones where things could slip through the cracks and not get done for that patient?

Anyone know when Ch. 7 BKs must close by? Is this changed by when there are adversary proceedings (alleged fraudulent transfers made to a bank for CC payments)? Asking for my friend who is unfortunately involved bc of his parents, who are the debtors (he isn’t a defendant or a debtor in this, but the payments were made to a CC in his name—a CC he didnt know was opened in his name).

Its in Texas, and the initial BK filing was made about 23 months ago. TIA!

Typical days on a difficult project with a difficult partner

like

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

For these remote companies where I don’t have connections how can I transition over?
