Hi Adidas Family,
Do you have any idea about internal transfer process? I have joined Adidas recently and looking for internal transfer to Amsterdam office.

For supportive shoes that also give a bit of height, Clove Supercush Alto and Dansko Professional are both great options. Pairing those with good compression socks or tights can really help with foot and leg fatigue during long shifts. Does anyone have other tips, shoe/foot-related or not? Always looking for ways to make the job easier.
Dansko are the shoes that we all wear around here. They are super comfortable and do give a little boost in height.
I'm also on the shorter side at a little under 5'4", but I have neuropathy in my feet & several years ago I got plantar faciitis (not sure I spelled that correctly!). I was working 12hr shifts in my local ED & it got so bad I went to a podiatrist & had steroid shots put in the bottom of my feet! Being diabetic, they'd only do 1 & then the other a month later, but in the mean time he told me to go to a local store where the manager will watch you walk & help you find the best option in shoes to help your feet. The MD recommended Brooks or something else I can't even remember now! I needed new shoes & had nothing to lose, so I went that same day. I left there with 2 different styles of Brooks shoes. 1 gave me better structure & the other felt softer on my feet, so when I couldn't decide, I got both thinking it'd be good to wear 1 pair 1 day & the other pair the next. In theory that would have been best, however, I was dealing with neuropathy in both feet, plantar faciitis in 1 foot, & healing from an injection & plantar faciitis in the other, so I ended up wearing the very soft ones until they wore out in 6-8 months. By then I was working in an office, the plantar faciitis was gone, & my job was 8hrs a day w/a lot of sitting, so I was able to wear the second pair at that point & they lasted almost a year! Since then I've stuck with the ones that are more soft. I now only wear Brooks Glycerin (2.0, 2.1, 2.2, whatever # I can find in the color I like & cheapest!). They have a good amount of cushion, so you may get an inch added to your height, but the difference they made in my foot pain from day #1 makes them the only shoes I work in now. Try them, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I’m surprised you worry about your height more than comfort. I am pretty short too. I’m 52 and my height used to bother me, but I’d much rather have comfortable shoes than a couple inches of height while working.
