I am currently on a contract and I do enjoy some aspects of it. However, the health insurance premiums almost make it not worth it. All that extra money I thought I was going to be making is paying for my healthcare.
I guess the decisions should come down to who relies on your income. If you have kids or family to support then you’d probably want to stay put. But if you’re like me and single and no kids then taking a risk isn’t that risky if it makes sense.
Can anyone speak on differences between working as a nurse doing hospice case management vs. home health? I knew the obvious “fact based” differences, but can someone speak to how different a day in the life looks? I’ve done hospice case management for 4 years and have an offer for a home health position, but I’m afraid it will be too similar to justify the move.
