What are the pros and cons of working for Progressive Insurance as a PIP examiner?

How's everyone doing with back to school and mental health? I'm too stubborn to break, but UUUGHHHH! Work is absolute hell with no relief in sight (but I'm glad to have a job!) & my child is starting a new school (in-person). So many emails and orientations, it's like being a lost kindergarten parent all over again! Plus a "mother's council" Zoom mtg @ 930 on a Thu AM?! Already super stressed & overwhelmed. Also lying about about not breaking, just haven't hit the wall of tears quite yet. Sigh.

Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? I have been an adjuster for almost 5 years, although I have loved almost all of my time adjusting and find it fun, in a sense, I am so ready to take my skills into underwriting. Does anyone have any tips for transitioning from adjusting to underwriting? I know this will sound cliche but I find myself to be very passionate about insurance and I do well when interviewed, but it is difficult to get a response for underwriting applications because they all “require” underwriting experience.
