I’m considering changing travel loyalty this year. Should I go Delta + Marriott (or) Delta + Hilton?

I live close to the LGA (NYC) airport and mostly travel domestically, with the occasional international travel. I used to live in NJ, and did United + Marriott, but now live closer to LGA and have decided to switch to Delta.

I also have the Amex Plat credit card if that matters.

Had an offer for 30% more , a promotion to manager, extra week of vacation to switch firms. I love where I am at with my clients and there is a lot of potential there. Should I stay the course?

Marriott mega bonus says "A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel reagrdless of check-in and check out activity". So in theory I can stay at brand 1 on day 1, brand 2 on day 2.

I was on an AA flight that turned around near the final destination due to "air conditioning problems," landed back in Philly, then we reboarded a few hours later.

What should my demands be?

Can I simply upgrade from Amex Blue Cash Preferred to Amex gold? Or would both just be open at the same time since one is technically a charge card?

I'm planning a wedding and wondering if I should apply for new credit cards to maximize on points. If so, wondering what your recommendations are and or if there are new cards out there I haven't heard of yet. For context I probably have another 20k+ in expenses to pay still and my current cards are:

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless
Citi double cash
Random card (used to be uber)

Need to get precheck/global entry. Should i get a credit card that covers this and cancel in a year, or should i pay it myself?
