I'm new to all this. Beyond all the humor is this actually commonly done ? What's the process and way to go. Real examples please:)

Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that. Over the last 6 months I have had to coach him and correct simple mistakes in his work and recently it got so bad that I told him he would receive a low rating in his evaluation. He lashed out, involved HR saying he doesn’t understand why, and now my review points out stuff that I would have let slide.

What process do you follow when working with product managers to solve customer pain points or work on new product features? I’m trying to find a better and more efficient way to work with my design team

Pre-approved for a home but the rate lock expired and now we have to re apply. My husband lets me know his credit score dropped 111 points because of credit card utilization. Drives me bonkers when he makes purchases at stores where we have rewards but doesn’t bother to identify it. He literally leaves money on the table when not bothering to pick the credit card from his wallet that has the best rewards for the merchant. I give him the tools (card pointers app, all the rewards cards in apple wallet) but he just can’t be bothered. How to get him onboard??

My Marriott ambassador is useless. I ask him to check with the hotel on trying to get certain rates etc and all he does is look in the system and tell me things aren’t available. (Cont.)

On a credit file, do multiple credit cards from the same issue count as multiple accounts or is that issuer counted as a single account regardless of how many cards

Do AA 500 mile upgrade awards expire? I have used a decent amount of upgrades, but I still have 14 that I have been sitting for a about maybe 6-7 months. I do not see anything about them expiring, but I would not be surprised if they do.
