Get ready to hustle and make sure your cardio is on point. Train your body like it’s a car where you will swerve around people who are just standing in front of you while you are getting late to work

If you aren’t going to walk up or down on an escalator stay on the right side!

Get used to expensive lunch and packed subways and give your self extra travel time ! There’s always a delay !!

Network your butt off. The financial industry is pretty tight knit here while also being large. Lots of opportunities to meet people!

Also, have fun! It’s an amazing city with something for everyone. Hope you love it!

Treat the sidewalks as a highway (you wouldn’t just stop your car in a highway, right? You’d pull over). Meet as many people as possible, bc the office is smaller than you think (as long as you think it’s the same size as an entire town in upstate). Pay the lowest rent you can handle so you can spend your extra cash on enjoying life outside of your apt. Go out and have fun- even if it’s not your thing, try it for a few months just to know your way around and see the city in a different way. Enjoy!

Thanks

How long does it take for PwC to send out rejection email? I interviewed with the team like a month ago, the recruiter called me the next day and told me that congrats, everyone likes me and told that they were working on my official offer. 3 weeks later, nothing. I followed up 3 times already and got the answer that I should expect to hear by the end of the week. My last follow up email, no response lol. Should I just move on now?

Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time. Outwardly, I don’t seem stressed so no one notices but actually I usually feel like I have a cold: fatigue, headache, sore throat, sinus infection. When a task is done, i stop feeling like crap. It’s been like this since law school. Any tips on managing stress or moving towards doing good work without my body shutting down lol?

While joining, the company says.. Congratulations, here is your offer letter. Kindly confirm your acceptance over email. As the last step you have to sign the OL "on the date of your joining."

Ques: Is signing OL on the date of joining a normal thing to do? On what basis should I be confident to tell my current org that I am leaving. What if they revoke?
