If a company is providing maternity leave generally for 6 months then there are very less chances of layoff or any kind of discrimination.
Also you are recently promoted, so you have a potential for future roles in the company.

I am the first one who ll be taking maternity leave in the company..
I don't think so u should be worried so many people will be going on maternity leaves and they return back, but once my senior told when she got back from leave she got more tickets than her teammates that's all
