Hi fishes!
I've been trying to break into DS/analytics roles for so many months now, from a non-tech job. I have undergrad projects and internships alone to show my ds skills.

Getting a job is hard, emigrating is even harder. I'm right there with you trying to leave my country. For what it's worth I think you'll do better finding a niche than being yet another react programmer they can source locally. If you're comfortable with React try learning some FP langs like Scala, Haskell, or Elixir. It won't expand your job opportunities much, but the places that need those skills have smaller pools to draw from and may need to tap international markets. Just a guess though, I haven't landed my overseas job either so maybe don't take me too seriously.
