Many tech companies won't care about your old criminal record (unless they're in cybersecurity or fintech). Start there.
I'm biased but I recommend tech sales - if you start as an SDR or BDR (~$75k-90k/year), career advancement is pretty quick.
Doordash might technically be a startup but they're fairly far along - I'd definitely characterize them more as a scale up at this point.
I hear ya on the anxiety. Can seem hopeless if you're faced with numerous rejections. What might help is having a career coach or other structured way to pursue a position (e.g. a career pivot bootcamp, like for coding or marketing or sales).
