I’m the #2 at a tech startup, moved from AE to Director of Operations. Started June 2024 with $36,000 base + 12.5%/8.5% commissions, earned $8,141.70 on $190,000 sales. Company did $3.3M in 2024, $7.9M in 2025, including a $7.5M deal (35% profit margin) I helped secure majorly(no commission). In a smaller job market I dislike. Owners promised a raise/bonus. Im critical to the company and would be a bad loss for them. What’s fair pay for my role, and how do I negotiate to avoid being lowballed?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking to build a career within the ESG consulting and strategy space. I am in a career transition phase and have a tax consultancy background from a Big 4 for 5+ years. However, I believe I have gained some skills that are transferable to ace at ESG consulting as well. While I am still in the process of upskilling myself and gaining the required knowledge, could you help me with referring my CV or with some leads?

My gf just got a peloton and now she is insufferable. “Peloton” this and “peloton” that. She even said “you can’t sit with me anymore because you don’t have a peloton”. She’s out of control!

Do you all sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the self care tips you see online. Gua sha, sleeping mask, satin pillowcase, this body wash, that scrub, dermaplaning. I don’t know what I should do vs. what not. 😰 and I feel like if I don’t do it, I’m not taking care of myself and not going to look good a few years later. 😓

Best tips for someone who has object permanence issues? If I put something down or away the chances I forget it and never come back to it are at least 50/50. How do you keep your home/office space clutter free without putting things where they'll never be found again? Or I guess how do you remember to go back to them? Help

Hello Everyone,

I have received offer letter from Optum Global Solutions India recently and I am seriously considering joining it(I also have offers from Deloitte USI and Verizon).
My breakup annexure mentions 4 components apart from RRP and PF. Basic, HRA, Flexi, Special Allowance. Either the Special Allowance or the Flexi is not included in the CTC mentioned in offer letter. So I want to understand how the Flexi and Special Allowance are paid monthly. Can someone please help?

Feeling frustrated. Accepted a new position a few months ago. Due to company guidelines I only received a small increase. There was no negotiating. I am now Realizing that my direct reports are making considerably more than me. (20-30% more). Curious as to strategies others have used in discussions with their leadership to address similar pay issues without ruining the relationship with leadership

Returned from maternity leave, I was offered a Revenue Operations Project Manager. I was given a 4% raise (next to nothing), I was asked to sign the paperwork upon my return which was strange. On day 1, got to know almost 4% raise was given to the entire company as compensation adjustment due to inflammation. The manager left the company within 4 days of my joining and now I’m stuck with the sad pay and a hefty job. Not sure what I should be doing?
