No one is going to pay 10K (or even close) for a used couch. Sorry. That said, I am in the market for a nice couch so show me what you’ve got! I will not be giving you anything near 10K though.

Most of the furniture in my house is high end custom stuff. Colonial style to go with the house. Bought from large homes in Vienna when they do their five year refresh. 10 to 20 cents on the dollar is more than fair for the good stuff. The bad stuff you pay someone to take.

Craigslist is still a thing. Also, depending on where you live your community may have its own page for residents. I think a lot of the comments on here are due to not knowing what you are charging and assuming it’s anywhere near $10k (other than the Vance ones which are just funny). Once I saw the price in the comments, that’s not unheard of. Speaking of Vance, when you post the listing, may help get eyes on it to write “Definitely has not had relations with JD Vance,” in its description.

Now for a used good, I would do 25 percent of msrp of you are patient and 10 percent if you are desperate.
