Hi fishes,
I interviewed with Siemens Energy for SAP ABAP position on 21st Jan. The interview went on for about an hour and in the end, the interviewer asked my expected ctc and wanted assurance if I won't negotiate on Siemens offer with some other company as i am currently serving notice period and join Siemens if provided an offer.
Till now , the HR team has not reached out to me for salary discussions and my LWD is 7th Feb. Can i expect a call or i got rejected ?Siemens
Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. Is there any financial firm which can pay as competitive to Mumbai banks. Barclays Deutsche Bank Natwest group BlackRock

Former BCG, worked a fed case and know the leadership there. If you’re joining the consulting team, application/requirements are no different but I believe you can opt in to Fed-only. You’ll likely travel much less, but I doubt it would be guaranteed. If you have deep industry knowledge, you could join the expert/knowledge team and be near 0% travel.
Bcg2 - what’s the best way for MBA experienced hire to get foot in the door on fed side? Active ts sci cip
Agreed BCG1, if there is no cleared work at that moment the waste would be keeping a C on the beach when he/she can bill anywhere they are needed
Ouchies fed
The BCG folks I had met in DC were talented and appeared to have good work life. Worked with one on a paid strategy engagement at a non-profit and he was a really cool guy. Didn’t seem to travel too much, 45 hours or so per week.
BCG 1 is right. If you join Fed, you don’t exclusively work for them. Hiring happens with the rest of BCG but you can opt into Fed for clearance purposes and get assigned on more Federal projects (not just OSD/Pentagon)
I’m in Fed, true things said so far. Fed consultants are in the regular staffing pool but mostly focus on local public sector. Your ability to do only Fed work really depends on there being cases that come up at the right time. If no cleared people are needed at that moment you could be put on anything
Same as non-Fed. You don’t get recruited by Fed specifically. Network, talk to BCG recruiters. You only opt into Fed once you’ve been hired
I think Op is missing the point that there is no dedicated Fed practice and they might need to travel
Outsider tracking this thread as well- given that he has a TS SCI, would they still staff him on non Fed?
That is a costly resource to not utilize.
D1 it isn’t a costly resource because BCG isn’t paying any extra for it.
