I'm working for a small company managing the CRM program. I am a PMP and working on agile certification also, but want to make the switch to a product or architect role. I have been thinking about getting Salesforce certified but have seen a number of posts that have mentioned that (in the posters' opinions) Salesforce is already becoming "ancient" in tech. I don't want to waste my time just starting a Salesforce career when it's on the way out. Anyone have any advice or thoughts on the matter?

Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. A signing bonus of 5 or 10k would make me feel so much better (obviously) but it would put me right where I want to be for salary this year. I like to apply for Product Manager roles at Amazon since I like the role. I have done front office CRM (SAP) implementations for Fortune50 clients through Accenture.
It is more of sitting with users to understand their process and map it to CRM suite and build additional features to map their specific processes.
I have also worked on sales, BD and functional spec creation for new features.
Can I count these as Product Management experience while applying for Amazon or other Faangmula?
