I am reaching out to you all and am looking forward to break into Investment Banking from Consulting. Applied to Goldman Sachs via a referral but my resume is stuck after HireVue. Talked to the VO who referred me and he said Goldman doesn’t hire in Q4. If that’s true and still need to be in GS, can someone forward my resume directly to the team? Their career portal sucks. TIA Goldman Sachs PS: I promise a dinner in a dance place in NY after I get hired as a sign of my gratitude 🙈

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
Crossroads Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. I have been with the organization almost 6 years and have accomplished achievement of my MSL (Masters Strategic Leadership) and LOVE the organization…BUT…I am not having any success in moving into a new position…my interviews are great experiences but it seems to be a pattern of not being selected yet encouraged to continue applying…received information from a mentor/manager to ask for candid feedback…when is enough…ENOUGH??

Not trying to knock your post but I’m a little confused. If you’re a former MBB consultant in your mid-40’s with a diverse resume, don’t you have a massive amount of established contacts and mentors?
I think EY1 hits it. You should have about 20+ years of work experience by this point. You ought to be working your network & merchandising your experience & leadership results. If you have not been “chosen” by this point, then you must put in extra effort to get “noticed”. I know it’s a cliche, but getting the kind of job you are talking about is a job unto itself.
If it doesn’t happen soon, it may never happen, so go for it. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
Networking!!
Yes!
I would recommend creating a powerful brand and strategically networking! Happy to chat through what that looks like here: www.careersuccessnow.com
