Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?

Citi's location in Buffalo/Getzville exists to reduce cost (i.e. the compensation in HCOL areas will not compare).
AVP could probably be anywhere from 60-95k (ik that's a broad range but ik of people with the AVP title in this location and comp seems to be pretty department dependent/based on experience).
Well, good news is I have a lot of experience in this area, so I should be at the top of this range I would think.
I appreciate the reply!
I got a job as an AVP at Citi and was offered 100K last year but was told by HR that this was the top end of the range. I'm in the Tampa office though, which is not a high cost of living area.
