I have every Friday off. Life changing is an understatement.
I’ll take Fridays. Usually Mondays will have people trying to start on tasks that may require your guidance, and being invited to meetings.
By Friday, everything has slowed down and everyone is gearing up for the weekend ahead. You’ll have lesser people disturbing you via messages and receiving ‘urgent’ tasks.
In Canada, the majority of statutory holidays fall on Mondays so I would opt for Fridays off to extend those long weekends!
I’d choose Fridays. Mondays are already packed with holiday weekends, so taking Fridays off gives you more actual extra time off. Since a lot of holidays already land on Mondays: MLK Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and others. Unless your company does not recognize major holidays then I would go with Mondays off, that way you could enjoy being off on the major holidays. Hope this helps.
