From my point of view for 7 year 6lpa seems too less. I think it's time to switch.
Yes I have heard same thing about cts they fire employees because of non availability of project.
I will say you can take cts offer and in notice period try to get more offer letter to avoid CTS.
anyway what's your current stack automation?
You must switch now mate , if tcs really cares they'll surely offer you a hike , with 6yoe you can get better offers what cognizant offered is just a tip , let us assume even if they fired there are way more companies out there with that requirement , no need to be afraid .

Hi Gaurav, I think it's time now for you to switch. As you're having 7 years of experience in TCS, mostly after your resignation the company will try to retain you probably with a hike of 100% or more than that depending upon the requirement. If you wish to stay and believe the management you are working under then you should think of the offer, else you have the offer already in hand.
