If i haven’t signed anything with my firm regarding repaying them for receiving my series 7 license with them I’m assuming i owe nothing if i leave? Is there a way to find out without my manager knowing I’m looking at other firms?

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23. I'm bit worried because I don't have releiving letter for those 2m but all other records are clear with me(includes to company I'm currently serving notice period). I yet to reveal this 2m to my Hr. Should I tell and leave as such, Kindly pour your advice.

I have two referrals for a position that I’m trying to apply to, however only one of the employee referrals is showing “attached” to the application. I accepted both employee referrals and they both show under my google account, but for the specific job application (which hasn’t been submitted yet) that one referral just won’t show up!!

What’s making those of you who want to go back to India want to go? I hear the work culture and bureaucracy there are the main reasons people come to the US.

What if Pakistan and India unite and form one single country ? Imagine the possibilities for our own people. Our cultures are more similar than our differences. After all we (both countries) are children of the same mother who just lived in separate houses (read partition) for 70+ years. All the money spent on military could be used for education , food and scientific development . Together we can be world’s superpower. What’s your take

My American citizen 8 month old is on tourist visa in India; current stay runs out on June 7. Flying outside the country is a risk we don’t want to take w/COVID. Don’t want to overstay the visa either. So we applied online on eFRRO to convert his visa to X-1 so we can apply for his OCI. They didn’t ask for payment and message popped up saying watch your text/email for next steps. Anything else I can do?
