That's just a stock question and when people ask it I don't think they're expecting a detailed and precise answer. There's nothing wrong with being honest and saying you have different career paths in mind. Obviously, it should be done within reason, you should be able to relate those options to the job you're interviewing for. But expressing the desire to learn more before making a definite decision is an acceptable answer, I would think.
I think it’s fine to be honest, as long as you make it clear you’re committed to doing well in the role you’re interviewing for.
