Interviewers always want to know my 5-year plan, but I'm honestly still in exploration mode. I'd rather gain experience first before deciding on a specific direction. Is it okay to say I'm keeping my options open, or will that signal to employers that I'm not serious about the role?

That's just a stock question and when people ask it I don't think they're expecting a detailed and precise answer. There's nothing wrong with being honest and saying you have different career paths in mind. Obviously, it should be done within reason, you should be able to relate those options to the job you're interviewing for. But expressing the desire to learn more before making a definite decision is an acceptable answer, I would think.

I think it’s fine to be honest, as long as you make it clear you’re committed to doing well in the role you’re interviewing for.

I agree!

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with honesty.

So I worked from home yesterday and my husband had a sneak peak on my meetings with clients (which I’m very new to being a senior). He mention that I should read some sales pitch books of some sorts so I can get a process down and not be drain from having genuine conversations with every client. I think it’s a great idea. Anyone have thoughts or recommendation?

Ethics Q: my client created fruaduant medical documents in order to try to recover extra benefits from her injury. My thought is to settle her case with insurance company for whatever nominal amount is offered ASAP. However, this might be lower than her case is actually worth despite the the fruad. I would rather end representation as soon as possible. Thoughts? California ethics apply.

Need help assess an offer from #PwC. Director of M&A IT (DDV - Deliver Deal Value). The offer has base salary (based on cohort - Tier 3 Home City) and sign-up bonus, but does not have the annual bonus structure for Director level at #PwC. HR lady said that they will give you that when you start. I would like that now (written format). She told me verbally the percentages but I do not recall them. Anyone from #PwC has that info in a PDF document?

Any documents? Much appreciated.
