I am writing a docker file and need to download a file from jfrog Artifactory. But the Artifactory is password protected.
How to pass credentials/authentication in docker file keeping security in mind.

In my offer letter, nothing is mentioned about variable pay, but the recruiter had mentioned to me about 0-12% variable. Am I missing anything. Do they have any variable component in the salary or not.

Those who do financial modeling at work: for case study in interviews, is it bad practice to submit a model based on a premade template, assuming that I understand all formulas and incorporate my own reasonable assumptions? There were substantial layoffs at firm and management has denied, saying they were performance related (mostly bullshit). They have not ruled out [further] layoffs in the future.

I don’t want to lose my job, and it would absolutely suck. But I almost feel numb and hard to even get too worked up over the prospect given how emotionally exhausting this year has been. Maybe bcz I feel somewhat safe, but I feel like if it happens, it does, and I’ll find a way to recover/move on.
