HELP!
If I sell a mutual fund (aciex) to buy an etf (splg) in my Roth IRA account, do I have to pay tax on the sale when filing next year? How does this work? TIA!

No, you have no tax obligations for anything in your Roth IRA, you’ve already paid taxes on the contributions and the earnings are tax exempt.

Roth IRA is the best. All your gains are tax free. You can buy and sell the same day, no tax!

I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. My question is, is it realistic for a 25 year old young professional to handle dealing with all the extra curricular’s that come with owning a rental property ?

Hey Guys,

What is reasonable or competative salary for family person in Singapore cost of living onwards.
Is 9k a good salary after tax for 4 members. It can be considered that school cost would be 2.5k, and house 2.5k. will the overall cost for month can come under 7.5 k ? It realistic or just illusion ?

I have pretty bad anxiety to the point where it affects my job performance and will cause me to waste hours because I'm trying to cope with symptoms. I hate that xanax works so well and am terrified of getting addicted to it. Wasted 2 hours this morning panicking and thinking I was about to have a heart attack or something stupid, then I took a xanax and drank some tea and I'm super focused again and my productivity is way up. Anyone else take xanax? I usually only do like 2x a week.
