The thing is, here we have to closely work with partners, to understand the holistic approach and requirements. Sometimes , it does get hectic, but sometimes its chill. It depends on project to be honest. But coming from service companies, I never got the exposure that I am getting here... If you want to be valued , you can definitely consider EY. One thing is for sure, you won't get lost in crowd. WLB sometimes will get turmoiled for sure. But With my previous experience with companies like Cognizant and TCS,as I have worked in both of them, I did get in projects where there were no such thing called WLB. But there were no such thing as feeling your importance either. So its your call how you want to see things.
it's totally based on my personal experience.
I might be wrong here. speaking from Individual perception
I have joined EY over some other organisations which were paying slight better.
I actually assessed in this way:
If offers are more or less same, then go with brand.
If offers are exorbitantantly different, then negotiate with the brand and settle with a little less than what you are getting in abc.
Brand matters! And brand like EY will definitely bring more to your plate on the long run. Even if it's a short stint with you and EY,It will still be beneficial for your next move. Sometimes you need to lose some lesser money to get much more !
Coming from a 10 YOE.
what about work culture and work life balance ? ? is it generically bad accross all the project?
Seriously… people over here have made me change my decision of joining EY India !! 🤯
