Is it common now for companies to go back to 5 days in the office vs remote/hybrid?

Sadly, yes. We went from fully remote to fully back in the office within a 2 month adjustment period. I've seen a lot of companies push for a return to office unfortunately.

Sadly yes! In Europe especially American Companies are the driving forces in these “back-to-the-office” trends… why though? I really enjoyed the fact that one could have freedom of choice, real flexibility and the epicenter swapped from being the employer to the employee, and now it’s back to how it was pre covid.

It's the rent of space and the surrounding businesses losing business but... With higher cost of living, people can't necessarily afford to go out as much to eat and stuff..

2-3 days in the office.

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? Thanks in advance!
