I think you would get a Conditional Resident Spouse Visa or CR1 while you wait for the green card. So yeah, it would be easier. If you’re planning on getting married anyway, go for it. Companies will definitely find it easier to justify hiring you.

i honestly think it is easier to go down the marriage route. but it sucks that we’re in this position! we shouldn’t have to choose to be dependent on a relationship or an employer to be here. i wish being good at our jobs was enough.
Huh? Ofcos it'll be easier getting married and a green card. That means no work and extra cost required by the agency. You want to make yourself easy to hire.
