Hello fishes, I am filing my tax return using hrblock premium. I have made contributions to nondeductible ira and then converted to roth ira (backdoor). the form 8606 asks these questions, but the questionnaire doesnt ask about whether I have converted. does anyone have experience with form 8606? which tax return software does this properly?

Would you try to negotiate price change after signing a P&S given the following facts? The home had a pipe burst in November 2021. The pipe is fixed. Damaged area is down to the studs. The home itself is over 130 years old. When we signed the P&S the market was still hot, so we couldn’t negotiate a home inspection. I got sober just over a year ago, started this job shortly after that, and have been working from home for a lot of it. How do you sell crypto according to longterm vs short term tax depending on when you bought the crypto?
For example: If i bought 5k of BTC in March, and 5k in April, how do I make sure I only sell the BTC i bought in march so I can get the 1 year long term capital gains tax? Or is it all blended?
