BDO India Hello fellow consultants, i have been offered a package of 66K GBP from Deloitte for the position of Manager - Cyber Internal Audit, Financial Services, Risk Advisory - Manchester. I am currently working for BDO India and will be relocating, what are your views on this? What are the extra relocation and accomodation benefits i can ask for? A lot of things don’t look normal with the job market right now. Do what you need to do to achieve your goals- it’s your life after all.
Make sure you have the next one in place before you leave, but don't beat yourself up for going after something else. Sometimes stuff happens.
Sometimes it doesn’t work out the way you want them to. I’ve seen it happen many many times. And personally. Just like anything else write done the pros and cons of both jobs. Consider distance , gas , ETA and how many employee turns there have been. If many leva for get fired often there usually is a problem. Good luck
If they wanted to lay you off for whatever reason, they would not think twice! Yes, give 2 week notice, then leave.

Just thank them for the opportunity and give them 2 weeks notice in writing. They may consider hiring you again in the future if you do that.
You’re doing what’s best for you. The company would do the same if it wasn’t a good fit. It happens that things don’t always line up the way we want them to.
At the end of the day, what matters is what’s important to you these companies don’t care don’t feel guilty about being happy. Nothing is normal when you’re working for someone else do what you Gotta do and don’t ever feel guilty for trying to be happy..
If it doesn’t align with your goal leave…. Also if the environment is too stressful leave. Your end goal/ mental health is more important than that job.
If this new opportunity is what you want, don’t let guilt be the only reason why you stay with your current job. Just make sure you have the new one finalized before you even mention leaving.
