Is it possible to find a job at SEC after a tax LLM?

Possible? Yes. Likely? I think depends on the rest of your qualifications. It’s not like the SEC actively trashes applications merely for having a tax LLM. It’s a totality evaluation

It sounds like OP is asking if having a tax LLM provides a leg up over other applicants.

But as you said, it’s a totality of the circumstances evaluation.

Yes

Do you know someone in that position? If you know, what are the qualifications that SEC is looking for in the applicants?

OP, what exactly is the question here?

Do you mean to ask that the attainment of a tax LLM provides you an advantage over other applicants such that your employment is definitive?

As one attorney said here, it depends on the complete scope of your resume. Although a tax LLM could help you, it would be naive to think your prospective employment is a certainty.

Are you asking that it would hurt your application? Why would you think that?

The question needs to be more specific.

I *think* Accenture is doing it right with regards to expenses. Overall, pretty relaxed with the perdiem and other expense policies in comparison it seems. That's actually a huge deal.

How do find a recruiter in the legal field? Have been looking for a job for a year now and trying to transition into another practice area. Applied to more than 20 jobs and still no offers. I feel like I might need some help.
Also, I have no idea how these arrangements work. Do you pay the recruiter to look for the jobs or do you pay them when you get the job? Or does the employer pay them?
