Not sure about the exact numbers, but it wouldn’t be surprising. From what I’ve seen, there’s a clear gap in IT work culture, and some management styles feel more controlling than collaborative. At times, if a manager doesn’t get along with someone, it can make the environment uncomfortable. Also, since HR decisions seem heavily influenced by managers. Also, there are lot of other reasons like - pay not according to the market, bad culture, non- technical managers and leads,etc.

Yes, from our team many have and they were crucial resources, yet managers here in Airbus did not even bother to retain.
With all the new toxic rules on wfo, peanut hikes and explosive micro management by hiring 20 to 30 group managers, yes the attrition has rised a lot.
