Steamworks, Twisted fork, Cactus club, Earls, Duffin's Donuts, Manjal, Dosa Factory, Liberte Cafe & Restaurant
Breakfast, pastry, scones, ube latte, latte art lol
There’s a lot to try! If you’re looking for more upscale restaurants some the come to mind are Kissa Tanto (my favourite), St Lawrence, Savio Volpe, Como, Anna Lena and Bar Susu. Looking for more casual, brew hall is a good time as well places like Keefer bar, loulas and so many more. Dm me, I’d be happy to talk more about it!
Oca Pastificio on Commercial, phenomenal Italian
What’s your budget?
I don't have one; open to whatever from street food to fine dining.
Kissa Tanto, Elisa, hawksworth, and salvino volpe are some personal favs
Go to Laowai…blnd tiger dumplings and ask for special number 7 ;) trust me
Tutto is good for Italian. I venture to Gastown for pubs. Yaletown for brunch, Kitsilano neighborhood for more healthy choices, mount pleasant Strathcona for craft beer. If you’re into brand names mid high end - Kissa Tanto, Elisa, hawksworth, Salvino are your go to. If you’re looking for Ramen spots, venture to Denman and Robson street. If you’re a bit adventurous, comb through Dished Vancouver (curated space for all food related - be it high end, street food, fast food). Also visit Granville Island.
If you want high end - go to Crocodile. They have the best service. And it’s a Vancouver staple.
My go to’s are:
Ramen: Danbo, Jinya
Brunch: Cafe Medina, Chambar, Sophie’s
Italian: Savio Volpe, Nook
Steakhouse: Gotham, Elisa
Oysters: Fanny Bay
Sushi: Minami

Barbara. If you can get a table. It wasn’t easy pre-Michelin star and is even harder now. It’s worth the effort.
