Looking to exit from 195k base to a sales role base 140 + 40 in guaranteed bonus year 1 to make up for the lengthy sales cycle. I know in the long run total comp through equity and sales commission bonus can be much higher but having a hard time making the jump… mostly my ego to drop drastically in TCO the first year after spending all these years trying to increase base. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

I Appeared for an interview for RPA - Automation Anywhere. I didn't got any response after the interview. Then when I reached hiring manager through LinkedIn I got to know I cleared all the rounds but my expected cts is high so they might have rejected. First thing is I never said what I am expecting . And I clearly told In managerial round that I am open for salary discussion.

But no one responded. Will I get the call back in time? Or I just leave it and go ahead with other companies?

I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(
