The guidance is 3 days in Accenture office or client site, yes.
Realistically, if you are doing a good job *and there is no need for you to travel* then they won’t enforce this. But if you do badly and it turns out you’ve been hiding at home then that can be a problem.
Equally, your contract actual says that you are available for travel 100% of the time so it a project needs you to travel then you kind of have to.
I stand by both of those statements. Our job requires travel so if you, because of a temporarily non-travel project, intentionally make changes to your routine that make it impossible to travel then that is not a great idea. Of course life happens (I cannot travel as much because one of my children being very ill) but this is about things you can control.
I coach a lot of new joiners and have seen them get into issues when they can’t get off the bench as they kept refusing travel. Eventually HR sent them a polite but firm email saying essentially ‘travel is not a reasonable justification for turning down a project. You will not have a mitigating circumstance for your reduced chargeability if this continues’.
Who actually works in the offices ? Every time I go in it’s just bare minimum staff
