Two weeks really isn't long enough to be expecting an offer.
Timeline here in Asia PAC member firm
Final Interview + 3 days to write up notes
Discussion hiring manager and recruiters about package 2 days
Approval from seniors to extend offer 5 days
Make up paperwork and approve it 3 days
Communicate to consultant 2 days
And this is relatively quick, if you haven't heard by mid next week give the recruiter a call. Of course if they are evaluating a few for the role it will take longer
thank you for advising me.
I've heard rumors that they don't hire inexperienced people. Is it a real?
Of course we hire inexperienced people, we hire graduates (and loads of them) every year.
Of course your job title says account manager, and we don't really have any of them, we have Partners, Principals and Directors that also manage client relationships but people employed purely to manage accounts are few and far between (after all clients buy from consultants who know how to do the job not people that know some consultants)
