Is this where recruiting is now? Get a message in Linked In for a Field Adjuster role opportunity. Mind you, I live in the South East of the US. Very far SE!! It’s stated on my Linked In bio where I live! The FIELD role is in Fargo ND!!! What?!? What?!? Yes, let me uproot my family from 95 and sunny every day to FARGO NORTH DAKOTA!! What?!? You couldn’t pay me enough to move there, no offense to those who do. But….. WHAT?!? WHERE?!? 🤦‍♂️

I always wonder if some of these recruiters are just bots that someone programmed poorly. Or if they're people who have to send out so many approaches a day. I get some that make no sense at all. But I haven't gotten an offer to think about Fargo, that might make me get in touch with them just to find out how in the world they came up with that. Maybe that's the strategy, they just want to establish contact any way possible.

Haha! I totally get it. Just came from the north to the south because I couldn't stand the cold anymore. But even without that, the likelihood that somebody is going to relocate across the country, when they weren’t the ones that initiated the conversation, is so small. Mass recruiter doesn’t seem to take any time at all now for details.

Pay me a wage which will be enough to live comfortably and a normal workweek, I’ll take it. Also be prepared to pay for the move. Tired of working 60 hour workweeks and still can’t pay the bills.

Anyone here counsel for a parent company with a lot of subsidiaries but the parent company’s legal department is really really small? I’m wondering if a small legal department for a large company is more of a pro or con? On one hand I suspect it’s less organized, on the other it might be a great leadership opportunity. Any insight? Thanks!
