It’s frustrating when HRs ignore messages or send irrelevant, robotic replies. Ghosting or sending useless responses isn’t professional ,it’s disrespectful. HR should be the bridge between talent and opportunity, but many act like gatekeepers with no basic communication skills. If you're too busy to respond, just say it. Basic respect goes a long way. It’s time for HRs to step up and treat candidates with the professionalism they deserve.

And what about the candidates? Do they treat them with similar respect when they ghost on the day of joining, abscond suddenly and make excuses? It goes both ways.

People who don’t submit their time daily, how do you remember what you did and for how long? I’ve always just submitted each timer as soon as I finish a task—“call with x re y” really doesn’t take that long even if I’m busy, and if I don’t do it immediately I’ll forget all those little I did in the morning by the time I go to bed. No shade at all to those with different systems, just genuinely curious because I see a lot about catching up at month end on here and I have no idea how that works??

I’ve always been comfortable concepting and writing. But when it comes to nitty gritty logistical stuff, I struggle. Like the discussions about aspect ratios, social post timelines, and the nuances of Facebook collection ads.

Can any other writers relate?

Hi!!
Recently I applied for the SOC role in IBM. Cleared all the rounds. The HR was offering me 5.7 lpa. I asked for more. HR said she would check and get back. Hasn't replied to my calls since the last 4 days. Should I expect a call?
Current CTC: 4.5 lpa
YOE: 2.5

Looking for potential roles in PDX. Posting a redacted resume. The heading on this resume is for customer solutions professional, but I am also really great with data entry and very tech savvy. I am also taking classes in python. Something in the greater PDX area would be strongly preferable since I don't have a car (I do have a driver's license, just to clarify) unless the work is within a reasonable commute. I also have a lot healthcare experience. Ping me!
