You’ll be fine. Tests are looking for mind-altering drugs, not psych meds. Your Xanax might show up as a benzodiazepine if your employer is using a 9–12 panel test, but you disclosed that. Deep breaths and happy thoughts.
This ^^^ hang in there. It’s going to be ok.
My experience is the medical review officer will call to co firm any substance detected. You will be allowed to produce proof of Rx and at that point your screen is reported as clean from substances
Hey you’re good. They will always give you the oppty to submit Rxs before failing you for “drugs” that could have been prescribed. You’re fine. That list you made is in no way official as it relates to your final result.
Your psych meds will not show up. It’s either a 5 panel or 10 panel drug test. Benzodiazepines (like Xanax) will show up, because it’s a controlled substance, but most others will not, with the exception of sedatives or stimulants, like Adderall. Doesn’t matter that the Xanax will show up, because you listed it. If any of your other prescribed meds show up (e.g., if you’re prescribed Adderall), they’ll simply reach out to ask for proof that it’s prescribed to you. If you’re not taking anything not prescribed to you, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Breathe!
I'm guessing no news is good news? I'm assuming I won't receive any notification if I passed, only if something comes back funky...right?

I am an in house employment counsel - for ours, we only receive a pass or fail. The third party company will contact the applicant and say “Your test was positive for benzos…or marijuana… can you provide us with a prescription.” If you provide the prescription, it is a “pass” and that is all we know. We don’t test for benzos anyway, just the basics. I don’t think most people do anymore, because it can open the door to EEO issues ✌🏻
