It's never a good sign after an interview when you're told "we'll let you know by the end of the week" and 11 days go by after said interview where you find yourself emailing them to inquire about your progress, which you are perfectly entitled to do,only to get an email back from the company informing you that they decided to go with another candidate.
Why couldn't you have the balls professionally to let me know when you said you would, instead of allowing me to remain hopeful.

I took me just 30 minutes from them so send automated email rejection. See it as their loss and the right employer will hire you. Sometimes when a company behaves like that , it shows lack of professionalism, ethic and toxicity. So in a way you dodge a bullet . A professional and considerate company knows , who the right candid is from the moment they walk into the interview room , and they don’t need the end of the week to let them know , within 24hrs or less they make the decision. That company has probably been doing that to multiple people , and possibly they don’t have the budget to accommodate a professional like yourself , and so they went with the cheaper version of candidate , that they can exploit.
