Interesting, what are you imagining? i get the sense that most people are trying their hardest to reduce their social media use. I think sometime that is time-limited (like BeReal or something like that) could really appeal to people who are trying to reduce their overall screentime. Problem is just that an app that actually satisifes that desire would struggle to make as much money
The “Like” function (and its derivatives such as Seen, Watched, etc) has no actual function except to cause addiction.
Social media will always be addictive until they remove those features. We’re in too deep to take it away from people, unfortunately. Remember the Internet before “Like” existed? It was a lot more peaceful.
I don’t care just please make it 16/9 this time.
Definitely needs to be vertical unless everyone starts carrying meta glasses tomorrow.
