I’ve been at the same post-MBA level for five years at my firm. I’ve seen more junior people and similarly tenured people get promoted past me. Can’t seem to get unstuck but I perform just strong enough I’m not flagged for PIP. I also don’t think I can get the political support for the promo. Anybody else been in a similar “trapped” situation? I am burnt out at this point and likely pivoting back to industry, but curious what others’ journeys looked like if my story sounds similar

Salary discussion is done. How long will it take get official offer letter ? Its been 3 days since then.

Should I leave my first permanent job as a team leader of 4 DPs in a FMCG business (only been there for 4 months) to join a huge Tech business for a 12months contract?

They offer me 60% more money than my permanent role. Circa 2000 dollars every month in my pocket

However, I am worried if I accept the tech role and I do not become permanent I will be looking again for a job in 12-24 months and my CV won't be showing a managerial position. Won't be showing any progress.

Recommendations for improving lower back / sciatica pain. Is there a seat cushion / lumbar support cushion that genuinely helps you? I’m all ears. I have a high quality office chair and try to use my desk in standing mode at least once a day and wear good trainers for feet support. But the lower back pain is a killer. Driving now too ends up hurting :(
