What level are you at currently?

Most powerful lift would be to find a partner who is well known / connected and get on their projects / work with them. Visibility is huge, especially at accounting firms.

So connecting with those who are well connected & who can get you in rooms and on opportunities for you to gain visibility in the firm and industry is major.

You want to build a personal brand within your firm and the industry - a go to for a specific niche or industry or initiative in your firm. So that your name is known and recognised and a lot of it comes from being on the “right” projects / clients and either being in the room where decisions are made or having someone in that decision making room who knows you and your work and is willing to vouch for you and put your name in the ring for new opportunities and promotions.
