I've been in WM for about 7 years now and I find it so fulfilling, but at the same time, I think some parts of my life are just a plain zero because of how much this job pulls you in. The most important one is relationships. I barely have any real friends, and don't even have a 'potential' candidate for someone I could be dating. I think I've this big expectation that if I'm with someone, they have to be extremely supportive of my career,and ambition or it won't work out. Am I thinking straight?

As a somewhat senior woman in finance who has a toddler and is currently pregnant, I’d say this is mostly true. You need who both understand your professional ambitions and how this career works. And someone who is empathetic about the fact that this field is heavily male dominated and would need you to work extra hard just so you can just AIM to be in senior ranks. You're going to have to step down a little at home, and you need someone who would happily share the load. At least that's what I believe.

I tried so hard today to finish all my errands and read and even worked out. And I'm taking medication and keeping my diet healthy. But today I realized I don't have anyone to talk to anymore when this image of me hanging keep popping up in my head. I couldn't even tell my psychiatrist. I'm searching for places that can handle my weight. I even cried full on which has not been happening since I started taking medication for depression. Is this anxiety? Or my brain is just ready let go finally.
