Can you help me with in hand salary?

Hi all,
Does your organization have a good work-life balance, especially for IDs? Or do you know any such organisation? Currently I am working for more than 12 hours a day. I am a mother of one year old, hence, want to switch to the organization, which has less work pressure.

I would also like to know this. Because when I’m told a salary is non negotiable, I believe it and don’t push for more.
I'd assume by negotiating the offer regardless. That's really the only way to see if there's wiggle room. Easier said than done since no one wants to lose an offer pushing the envelope, but if/when you know you're not going to accept the initial offer, you've got nothing to lose by asking.

"Later" being the key word. #1) you don't know if the no negotiations policy has changed to match a market need during a period where your employer had to compete with others to bring in talent. #2) You don't know if that salary band was raised to compete or was a COL adjustment.... Now if you said "came in around the same time" I'd be more inclined to dig a bit deeper but.... that also leads to #3) you don't know if their background, experience, and qualifications reflect a higher salary compensation compared to you at the time. Personally comparing yourself to others within your company is a bit of a moot point unless your comparing exactly the same position at the exact same time and all you can compare is your offer salary to market rates in your area during the time you received that offer. Also I would ask how do you know their salary short of asking and not knowing if that's 100% accurate, just looking at posted ranges around the time they were hired, or doing something extremely unethical and possibly illegal to find out?
