Sounds like you have your answer. If nothing else has changed (i.e. , equipment being used, strength of laser) but rather the personnel administering it there lies the issue; especially if you've never encountered a burn before with the other nurse. Speak up and advocate for yourself, bringing it to the nurse's attention that you've only recently encountered burning when she does it or even ask for a different nurse.
Ain't nobody got time for cooch and butt burns...handle it! Remember you are paying for this service and it is now subpar in quality (i.e. burns).
No, I went at the scheduled time for the areas. The body has different timing than the face and I can’t remember which was longer but I think I went every 6ish weeks for my first sessions.
If all is the same, it could be the nurse. Whenever I had my laser hair removal, I requested an ice pack with session whoever was performing the procedure. Also, I used a numbing cream. Do you think that’ll help you or are you already doing that?
You can use a numbing cream then wipe it off. Ice packs also help numb but they won’t prevent burns.

Are you doing a test for pain when you start the sessions? When I get it done they always do a test spot even if they’re keeping the laser at the same level from the last treatment. My nurse tech says it should be no higher than a 3/4 for pain.

Ah, do you have a package with this place? I’d give feedback and talk to the manager so they know. I had a tech who left me with numerous lines of hair and I emailed them and they redid it for free.
