I think it can work, but to me personally I don't think people care. I've actually edited a video back in my agency days that aired during the Superbowl. It was for Dove chocolate.

I always find the hype about Super Bowl commercials interesting, as the anticipation is part of the fun. While I'm personally interested, and I know many others are, I'm not sure the public at large really cares. Part of me thinks all the lead-up to what gets shown on gameday may actually turn the public off. It coincides with my theory for why the Oscar viewing public keeps shrinking, I think all the hype and social media chatter ahead of time makes people sick of it before it happens.

Agree with this. I’m struggling to think of when the hype and build up actually has a huge payoff in the Super Bowl airing.
That's a big career dream of mine, to do something related to the Super Bowl. I've never even gotten close but I imagine it would be such an amazing feeling!

The best part about it is you know people are actually seeing your work! Whether good or bad, perhaps the only true mono cultural viewing moment left these days.
