While the labor shortage has not impacted our business yet, we are preparing for when it does. We are working on increasing automation and looking for ways to do more with less labor. Additionally, we are working on expanding our business into new markets that have a higher concentration of workers.

like

workers have a bit more leverage at the moment so we may need to increase pay and benefits to make our openings more attractive. I'm okay with this though

We're seeing an increased need for higher wages, so there is that

Sales have decreased because the number of employees has decreased and customer service is a little slower, so customers go to other places with faster service.

It is difficult to find qualified candidates for open positions. This has caused us to increase our offer salaries and extend our job offers to a longer period of time in order to ensure that we can find the best possible candidate for the job.

We are constantly struggling to find qualified workers, and when we do, they often command high salaries and want better benefits than we can't offer without losses. This has forced us to raise our prices and delay some orders, which is really frustrating for our customers.

Hey folks. Question for the majority of us still under the big 3 holding co’s...are raises a thing anymore? I’ve been at my (smaller) agency almost 5yrs and got one raise (a nice $12k bump) during that time—is that sufficient? Is one increase in that span normal? I also recognize being somewhere 5 years is rare these days. The honeymoon period at any agency seems to be 2.5—3yrs before bolting. Not complaining, just asking. Have y’all been getting raises/bumps in any kind of regular cycle? Thx.

Hi Fishes, I am new to this variable included pay structure. From my first company to current I am getting fixed pay only. So, I know how to calculate my in-hand salary with that. I can see here 10% is variable pay. I have some questions,
1. How much will be in-hand salary?
2. Is there any hidden component which may deduct from my salary?
3. How variable pay will be paid? monthly or quarterly or annually?
4. How much variable pay we will get by Average?
