Job search check-in: I've had 4 real interviews in the past 2 months (not phone screens). Made it to final round for 3. Two went with internal candidates, the third had me competing against a whole cohort for limited spots.
Two were top tech companies, two were mid-sized firms. Getting these interviews took serious work-networking, referrals, outreach. Final round three times and still no offer is discouraging, but I'm staying on it. Anyone else grinding through this?How's it going for you?

I’m starting my exit from Deloitte after 2 years here doing Salesforce implementations, and about 4 years prior to that of more Salesforce implementations. I’ve realized that I love receiving quick/frequent feedback, I prefer to have my compensation correlate to how hard I work, and like working closely with people. I don’t see myself in my managers shoes or becoming more technical. Any thoughts on roles/paths I should pursue? Any opinions would be very helpful!

On my W2 federal wages are the same as NY state wages, how do I track down my New York w2 wages without access to my detailed timesheets? Starting a new job next week (unlimited PTO), and just had some plans for the summer get finalized (family vacation and two weddings). It’s about 2 weeks in total - one extending July 4 week, an extended weekend in late Aug, and a week in October. Do I email my manager about all this now, or wait until next week once I’ve started?? The plans just got finalized today, and I accepted the offer a month ago.
