Starting a new job next week (unlimited PTO), and just had some plans for the summer get finalized (family vacation and two weddings). It’s about 2 weeks in total - one extending July 4 week, an extended weekend in late Aug, and a week in October. Do I email my manager about all this now, or wait until next week once I’ve started?? The plans just got finalized today, and I accepted the offer a month ago.

Hi! I just got an internship offer for beauty formulation for Amway! I was wondering if anyone had experience with this company before? I’m currently in the product formulation position for ~ $25/hour, paid housing, and additional benefits like dental and health care. Plus, they said I could get free/cheaper transportation if needed! I tried counting my calories while on this trip. My lunch was basically my whole day’s worth of calories and I barely finished 2/3rd of it 🙃 man I HATE calorie counting. Why is weight loss so dependent on it 😭 whatever I’m just gonna enjoy this vacation and suffer the consequences. Plus side is at least we’re hiking/walking a lot.

I've become really jaded about consulting.
