If I got married on a Sunday, could I use the flowers from the wedding the night before? (Anything they were going to leave behind like hanging installations) Seems like a waste for that decor to be trashed and an opportunity to pay it forward. Has anyone done this?

Do you get a bonus? How much? Do you count it in your salary when posting here?

180 base, 50 bonus, plus 50-75k profit sharing and 50k equity a year.

Still feel underpaid on initial base salary :/

Do you think you and your significant other should have similar personalities? My significant other and I are doing long distance and I feel like when I FaceTime with him, I emote more and show interest by asking more questions but from his end, he doesn’t always have a reaction or just nods, and it makes me feel like he’s uninterested. On his end he sees it as he’s comfortable.

This is a question about friendships. Two friends got into a really bad fight this past weekend. They have each asked me to hang out this weekend. What do I do? I don’t want to have to choose sides. One is a friend I’ve known a little longer and has been a good friend and so she would feel betrayed and angry if she knew I were still friends with her now-enemy. The other I’ve known less longer, but we seem more compatible. Advice??

Anyone have any affordable case management software recommendations? I’m looking for something a bit non-traditional as I work for a small nonprofit. At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

Oh my god. I am finally done with the CPA. It took me 5 years and I failed so many times, lost credit, spent thousands of dollars on different study materials, coffees, pens, etc. I can’t believe this day has finally come for me. If you’re struggling please don’t give up and don’t compare yourself to someone else. It will eventually happen for you if you keep pushing!
