McKinsey & Company Hey folks!
Was wondering what sort of life sciences projects does usually the Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company take on?
Commercial, access and pricing, M&A, transformation, implementation? (all of them perhaps?)
Basically, what would someone with an LS background be mainly working on in these firms on a day-to-day basis?
Thanks!

I’ve been there. The first few months are tough especially when you work with people who aren’t kind/not great at coaching.
Just maintain a positive attitude. Try not to repeat the same mistake. Keep looking for ways to show your improvements. Optics matter more than the work in many cases.
No you will not be PIPd.
You’ve got this. Hope it helps. Good luck!
Just suck it up, show positive attitude and improve. Totally fine to not be great at the start no matter how experienced you are, as long as you learn. Trajectory can be very fast
Unless you're at Accenture. Then you'll be gaslit into thinking you genuinely aren't good enough even though...it's accenture.
Totally was my experience too. Is your EM a former BA? Micromanaging is common for those profiles

Yes, and some also have a bit of a chip about grown from undergrad versus in as MBA and view is as their job to point out how much you don't know.
As others have said. Keep positive, don't repeat the same mistake, view it all as a learning curve. It's trial by fire. When you need to worry is when you quit getting feedback.
