Just got call from TC HR they have extended their joining date of lateral entry.. My joining date is 4 nov.. Now they are asking for jan 2025..still yet not fixed.

I'm currently working as an electrical designer in the MEP industry. I really don't like it and I'm working towards a career change which I'm actively applying for and getting certified etc. However, it's been a slow process and I'm currently underpaid where I am so would it be wise to make a lateral move to another MEP firm simply because they offer me more money while I still look for a different job separate from this field? Or just tough it out?
